Here is what information Pethesya LINK uses, why it is used and where it is kept.
Personal information collection list
This list covers information accessed or processed by the iOS app, including data that stays on your phone or is transferred to your device over Bluetooth. It does not mean that all listed data is sent to us. Apple platform and TestFlight information is identified separately.
Connecting and managing devices
- Information
- Bluetooth and device identifiers, signal strength, serial number, model and version, linking status, battery level, screen and light settings, playback order, playlists, sync records and credentials.
- Use and location
- Used on your phone and device to find, connect, verify access and carry out operations. The app does not upload this information to us.
Images and videos
- Information
- Selected files and accompanying information, edited results, device content and preview copies.
- Use and location
- Previewed, cropped and converted on your phone; sent over Bluetooth after confirmation or read during sync. Temporary files and outdated previews are cleaned up as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Device images and names
- Information
- Selected device images, cropped results and names you set.
- Use and location
- Stored and shown only on your phone to identify devices. They are not sent to the device or uploaded to us.
Language settings
- Information
- Your system and selected languages.
- Use and location
- Choosing the display language and saving the preference on your phone.
Emailing us
- Information
- Sender address, message, attachments you add and correspondence records.
- Use and location
- Sent through email services and handled by us in mainland China to answer questions and requests. Kept for one year after the matter is resolved. The app does not automatically send or attach information.
Online information pages
- Information
- IP address, access time, request method, page path and response status.
- Use and location
- Processed by our hosting provider in mainland China for security and troubleshooting; retained for up to 186 days.
Local operation and recovery state
- Information
- Transfer and recovery state, operation results, error events and exception types.
- Purpose and destination
- Local operation and recovery state supports completing actions, reconciling interrupted transfers and diagnosing failures. Standard releases do not create the app’s debug log files or automatically upload them. Information received through Apple’s platform services is listed separately.
Apple platform diagnostics and TestFlight testing
- Information
- Apple can provide relevant diagnostics and aggregated app statistics according to your analytics-sharing settings. You can manage these under iOS Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements. TestFlight automatically gives us crash and usage reports under its testing terms, independently of ordinary analytics-sharing settings. Reports can include testing, device and version details, plus feedback you submit. Email invitations may identify you; public-link-only testers’ names and email addresses are not shown to us.
- Purpose and destination
- We use reports we receive only for product support, troubleshooting and app improvement, keeping information under our control only as long as necessary before deletion or anonymization, subject to legal retention requirements. We do not share TestFlight information with third parties. Apple’s own handling and retention follow its policies.
Personal information shared with third parties
The app does not automatically share local device records, credentials, avatars or media with advertising, analytics, push or crash-reporting providers. Transferring content to your own compatible device is a requested Bluetooth operation. The following external services are involved when you open a website or send email:
We do not sell your app information or use selected media for advertising, profiling or model training. The app has no advertising, analytics, push or automatic crash-upload SDK. Apple system frameworks and bundled local media and font components support Bluetooth, file selection, interface, processing and playback. This app processing does not send your media or device records to component providers. Apple’s separate platform diagnostics and TestFlight services are explained below.
Alibaba Cloud: receives the network request when you open an online page, including IP address, time, request method, page path and response status, to deliver and secure the website and troubleshoot faults. Processing is in Hangzhou, mainland China; access logs are retained for up to 186 days. No app device records or media are attached to the request.
Alibaba Cloud Legal Statement and Privacy Policy
NetEase Enterprise Mail (杭州网易竹邮科技有限公司 and its affiliates): delivers and stores email that you choose to send, including your email address, message and attachments you add. We process received correspondence in mainland China and retain it for one year after the matter ends, subject to the legal exceptions in the Privacy Policy. The app does not automatically send email or attachments.
NetEase Enterprise Mail Privacy Policy
Apple’s store, iOS, system photo and backup services, the browser and your email provider operate under their own policies and settings. Their handling of downloads, updates, selected cloud files, backups, browsing or email is separate from this app’s local Bluetooth and media processing.
