佩友科技（深圳）有限责任公司 (“we”, “us”) operates the Pethesya website. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit pethesya.com or www.pethesya.com and use our interactive demo, and how you can manage it.
This policy covers the website. Actual use of the Pethesya LINK app and devices is covered by the privacy policy provided for the app. The phone interface on this website is an interactive demo.
No account is required. Images and videos you choose in the demo are processed in your browser; the demo does not send them to us or to a physical device. Website visits generate security logs. If you email us, we receive the content you send.
1. Information from website visits
To deliver pages, protect access and troubleshoot problems, our server processes network requests and logs your IP address, access time, request method, page path (without query parameters) and response status. Access logs are retained for up to 186 days and removed under our log rotation rules. They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
The website has no account registration, online payment or public posting features. It does not use website analytics, advertising trackers, third-party social plugins or behavioral profiling services. Fonts and display media are served by this website.
2. Cookies and data in your browser
We use browser storage only for website functionality, without advertising or analytics cookies. You can view, restrict or clear this website’s cookies and data in your browser settings.
- Language preference: the pethesya-language cookie stores only your choice of English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese or Korean, so the website can select that language on your next visit. It expires 365 days after it is set; visiting again or changing the language may renew that period. Language-specific URLs remain available if you clear or block this cookie.
- Demo device image: when you choose and save a device image, the cropped image is saved in this browser’s local storage for future visits. It does not expire automatically. It remains until you restore the default device image or clear this website’s browser data. It is not synced to our servers.
- Other demo content: selected images, videos, cropped results, the demo device name and settings are held in page memory for the current experience. A full reload or closing the page resets them. Your original files are not modified. “Upload”, “connect” and “firmware update” actions in the demo do not operate a physical device.
3. When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your sender address, message, attachments you choose to include and correspondence. We use these to answer inquiries, discuss business, provide product support or handle privacy requests. An email link only opens your mail app; it does not automatically send a message or attach information.
We retain correspondence for one year after the matter is closed, then delete or anonymize it. If legal requirements, a dispute or a security incident require further retention, we keep only what is necessary for the necessary period. Please include only relevant information; there is no need to send identity documents or other sensitive information with your first message.
4. Providers, locations and disclosure
Alibaba Cloud hosts the website on a server in Hangzhou, mainland China. Website requests and security logs are processed in mainland China. We use NetEase Enterprise Mail to transmit and store email, and we handle received correspondence in mainland China. Local demo data remains on the device you use.
Service providers process information as needed to provide hosting or email services. We do not sell personal information or provide it to advertisers. Apart from processing by service providers, your lawful authorization or a legal obligation, we do not disclose your personal information to others or make it public. Where separate consent is legally required, we will obtain it separately.
The website currently does not arrange transfers of server-held personal information outside mainland China. If you visit from elsewhere, your requests are sent to our server in mainland China. Email also passes through the mail service you choose. Before introducing a cross-border transfer regulated by law, we will meet the applicable notice, consent and protection requirements.
Security logs support legal obligations such as network security. We handle service requests you initiate to the extent necessary to provide the requested service or on the basis of applicable consent. We will separately explain other processing that requires consent; simply browsing does not amount to consent to every form of processing.
Where EEA or UK law applies, access security, troubleshooting and general inquiries are handled on the basis of our legitimate interests in protecting the website and responding to requests. Processing necessary to fulfill a contractual service you request is based on that contract; other processing requiring consent is based on the relevant consent. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests as provided by law.
5. Managing your data and rights
You may use the email address below to request access to, a copy of, correction or deletion of personal information we hold, withdraw consent, or request restriction of processing, object to processing or request data portability where the law provides for these rights. Guardians and authorized representatives may act on your behalf. We ask for only the minimum information needed to verify identity when verification is necessary.
We will handle your request and respond within 15 working days, or a shorter period required by applicable law. Ordinary requests are free. We will explain any lawful fee, extension or refusal and the available next steps. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. Exercising your rights will not result in unreasonable differential treatment. You may seek a review, complain to a competent authority or pursue other legal remedies.
You can clear local browser data as described in section 2; we cannot remotely delete files on your device. If information must be retained by law, we will explain why and restrict its use to necessary storage and security protection.
Where Taiwan law applies, inquiries and requests to inspect or obtain copies are handled within 15 days, with notice of any lawful extension. Where EEA or UK law applies, you may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and complain to the authority in your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement; UK users may contact the ICO. Statutory rights in other jurisdictions remain available.
6. Children
This is a general-audience website. It does not ask for ages or children’s details. A guardian should assist children when choosing images or contacting support, avoiding private details such as home addresses, schools or whereabouts. If we learn that we have received personal information about a child under 14, we will take legally required protective measures, obtain guardian consent where required, or delete information that should not be retained. 7. Security and policy updates
The public website uses HTTPS to protect data in transit. Server access and log retention are managed within the necessary scope. We will address personal information security incidents, take remedial action and meet applicable notification and reporting duties.
If purposes, information types, recipients or your rights materially change, we will update this policy before the change takes effect and provide an appropriate notice. We will separately seek consent when required. Language versions do not limit your statutory rights. You may save or print this page.
